General provisions

22.112.08030 standards

Standard parking spaces shall have a minimum width of 8.5 feet and a minimum depth of 17.5 feet

22.112.1006 standards

Table 22.112.100-A, below, identifies the minimum number of bicycle parking spaces required for each use.

22.112.1003 standards

A minimum of two spaces shall be provided.

22.112.1103 standards

For every two bicycle parking spaces provided above the minimum number of such spaces required by Section 22.112.100 (Bicycle Parking and Related Facilities), the number of required automotive parking spaces may be reduced by one, with a maximum reduction of five percent of the total number of such spaces otherwise required by this Chapter.

22.112.1302 standards

For multi-family residential developments, the parking requirements for residential uses in accordance with Section 22.112.070, above, may be reduced by 25 percent if the site plan includes multiple on-site Transportation Demand Management (TDM) measures selected from Table 22.112.130-A, below, with a combined point value of five or greater, or reduced by 50 percent with a combined point value of 10 or greater.

22.112.1302 standards

For multi-family residential developments, the parking requirements for residential uses in accordance with Section 22.112.070, above, may be reduced by 25 percent if the site plan includes multiple on-site Transportation Demand Management (TDM) measures selected from Table 22.112.130-A, below, with a combined point value of five or greater, or reduced by 50 percent with a combined point value of 10 or greater.

22.112.1401 standards

Shared parking requests shall be approved with a Ministerial Site Plan (Chapter 22.186) application if the applicant provides a parking study demonstrating adequate parking availability (not deficit in the number of parking spaces available in the shared parking facility), during typical peak times for the land uses which the shared parking facility is currently serving and during typical peak parking conditions for the multi-family development the parking facility proposes to serve.

22.112.1401 standards

Shared parking requests shall be approved with a Ministerial Site Plan (Chapter 22.186) application if the applicant provides a parking study demonstrating adequate parking availability

22.114.0202 standards

A person shall not use any sign in any zone except as specifically permitted in this Title 22 and subject to all regulations and conditions enumerated in this Title 22.

22.114.0405 standards

The following signs shall be prohibited in all zones: Signs which contain or utilize: Any exposed incandescent lamp with a rated wattage in excess of 40 watts. Any exposed incandescent lamp with an internal metallic reflector. Any exposed incandescent lamp with an external metallic reflector. Any revolving beacon light. Any continuous or sequential flashing operation, other than signs displaying time of day, atmospheric temperature or having programmable electronic messages, in which: More than one-third of the lights are turned on or off at one time; or The operation is located less than 100 feet on the same side of the street or highway from any Residential or Agricultural Zone.

22.114.0404 standards

The following signs shall be prohibited in all zones:

22.114.0504 standards

In no case shall a lighted sign or lighting device thereof be so placed or directed so as to permit the beams and illumination therefrom to be directed or beamed upon a public street, highway, sidewalk, or adjacent premises so as to cause glare or reflection that may constitute a traffic hazard or nuisance.

22.114.0601 standards

The surface area of any sign face shall be computed from the smallest rectangles, circles, and/or triangles which will enclose all words, letters, figures, symbols, designs, and pictures, together with all framing background material, colored or illuminated areas, and attention-attracting devices forming an integral part of the overall display, but excluding all support structures

Outdoor advertising signs may be erected and maintained in Zones C-MJ, M-1, M-1.5, M-2, and M-3 provided a Conditional Use Permit (Chapter 22.158) has first been obtained and subject to all of the following conditions of use:
