P-C districts may be established on suitable parcels. All uses require a use permit. Site area 8,125 sq ft. Parking: 1 space per dwelling unit; commercial 1 sq ft per sq ft.

Minimum lot size: not less than eighty acres. Uses allowed by right include one single-family dwelling, agriculture, logging, etc. Uses allowed by use permit include sawmills, mining, additional dwellings, etc.

No new building or structure intended for residential, commercial, industrial, institutional, or any other human use on a parcel wholly or in part within a P-S-A district shall be permitted without either certification by the ALUC or judgment made by the local agency...

variances in such requirements may be granted as provided in this chapter.

A certificate of conditional use may be issued as a means of permitting and regulating the establishment and/or operation of specified uses in specified zoning districts.

A planned development (P.D.) permit shall provide a process whereby the county may consider proposed developments which, due to size, complexity, innovation in design, location, character and/or the unique development opportunity of the site, require application for an approval of a comprehensive development plan.

Any person, firm or corporation, violating... shall be guilty of a misdemeanor, and upon conviction thereof shall be punishable by a fine of not more than three hundred dollars or by imprisonment... not exceeding three months

All of the land within the boundaries of the airports defined in this chapter and within two miles of the landing area of each of these airports, is divided into horizontal zones, conical zones, transition zones and runway approach zones.

Sight distance area. 'Sight distance area' means the area included within that triangular area between the property line and a diagonal line joining points of the property line thirty feet from the point of their intersection, or in the case of rounded corners, the triangular area between the tangents to the curve and a diagonal line joining points on the tangent thirty feet from the points of their intersection.

Small livestock farming. 'Small livestock farming' means the raising and/or keeping of more than twelve chicken hens or twelve pigeons or twelve similar fowl and/or twelve rabbits or twelve similar animals or any roosters, quacking ducks, geese, guinea fowl, peafowl, goats, sheep or similar livestock; or the raising and/or keeping for commercial purposes of any cats or dogs

Agricultural storage. 'Agricultural storage' means the outside storage of operative materials, machinery and/or equipment incidental to an agricultural operation and stored in an orderly manner not less than one hundred fifty feet from any property line.

Height of building. 'Height of building' means the vertical distance above a reference datum measured to the peak of the highest ridge of the roof. The reference datum shall be selected by either of the following, whichever yields a greater height of building: (1) The elevation of the highest adjoining finished grade when such finished grade is not more than ten feet above the lowest adjoining grade; or (2) An elevation ten feet higher than the lowest grade when the finished grade described in subsection (1) of this section is more than ten feet above lowest grade.

Home occupation. 'Home occupation' means an accessory use of a dwelling unit for gainful employment involving the manufacture, provision, or sale of goods or services. A home occupation may be allowed in all districts which would otherwise allow permanent, year-round residential uses, except as prohibited.

Kennel. 'Kennel' means any premises where six or more dogs, six months or older are kept. To be lawfully permitted in accordance with this title, in zones allowing such, any such kennel must have a valid and operative license issued in accordance with Chapter 8.12 (Dogs).

Load zone or load space. 'Load zone' or 'load space' means an accessible, usable, and generally paved space and maneuvering area on a building site at least twelve feet by twenty-two feet, located out of any public right-of-way, that is used for the loading and unloading of freight, cargo and other materials.

Parking area. 'Parking area' means an accessible, usable, and generally paved space containing adequate maneuvering area and a specified number of parking spaces as per Chapter 18.104 of this title. No required front or street side yard setback area shall be used for off-street parking facilities except as provided elsewhere in this title.

C-H HIGHWAY COMMERCIAL DISTRICT

C-H districts are intended for commercial uses to serve the highway traveler. Uses allowed by right: restaurant, agricultural products, convenience stores. Uses by use permit: RV park, campground, motel, etc.

C-L LOCAL CONVENIENCE COMMERCIAL DISTRICT

C-G GENERAL COMMERCIAL DISTRICT
