  • Minimum tree ratio for large parking areas1 tree per 8 spaces

    For uncovered parking areas with sixteen or more spaces, the minimum landscaping required shall be one tree, within the parking area, of a species suited to the area climate zone for every eight parking spaces to provide shade and visual diversity.

  • Design review required

    All development in any C-H district shall be subject to design review according to the provisions of this title.

  • Maximum points of ingress/egress2 points

    Access to the highway shall be controlled, and no more than two points of ingress/egress shall be allowed.

  • Minimum landscaped strip between parking and street/adjacent property5 ft

    Any parking areas provided in a required front or side yard setback shall be separated from the streets and adjacent property by a five-foot-minimum landscaped strip.

Parking

  • All-weather dust-free surface

    All parking areas shall have an all-weather, dust-free surface.

C-H districts are intended for commercial uses to serve the highway traveler. Uses allowed by right: restaurant, agricultural products, convenience stores. Uses by use permit: RV park, campground, motel, etc.
