    Provisions for irrigation of all required landscaping (trees and shrubs) for retail commercial uses. Grass areas are not required to be irrigated.

    Planned unit developments; any development involving public improvements; all new buildings and residential structures; additions to existing multifamily, commercial or industrial buildings (unless <10% of total square footage); religious assembly, schools, child care centers, hospitals, nursing homes, government offices; any development meeting VDOT review threshold.

  • A Virginia stormwater management permit is required if the site disturbs more than one (1) acre.
