Any development within the office/service district shall be served by public water and sewer.

Dwellings, business buildings, and all other structures not specifically exempted in section 26-248: Permitted by right: shall not exceed three (3) stories or forty-five (45) feet, whichever is greater. Any development within the office/service district shall be served by public water and sewer.

Section 26-14

The term 'Residential District' shall include all Agricultural, Rural Conservation, Single-Family and Multi-Family Districts. The term 'Business District' shall include all Business Districts, the Office Service District and the Mixed Use District, and the term 'Industrial District' shall include all Industrial Districts.

Section 26-15(a)

If, because of error or omission in the Zoning District Map, any property in the jurisdiction of this Ordinance is not shown as being in a Zoning District, the classification of such property shall be classified A-1, Agricultural, until changed by amendment.

All BP Districts shall be developed with public utilities.

Structures may be constructed to a height of four stories or fifty (50) feet, although no structure shall be constructed on the premises to penetrate a plane of thirty (30) degrees extending from the boundary of the district. All BP Districts shall be developed with public utilities.

The purpose of this district is to specify additional development standards for uses other than residential uses in those areas of the county which, through provision of public utilities, are, or are planned to be, more densely populated.

Section 26-2

This Ordinance shall apply to all property located within Hanover County, Virginia, except for those properties located entirely within the Town of Ashland.

Section 26-201 to 26-20714 standards

The purpose of this district is to provide additional development standards for all commercial and industrial uses within designated areas adjacent to the Town of Ashland so as to create an appropriate transition from development in the surrounding county to the town.
