General provisions

Sec. 5.1.183 standards

The temporary construction headquarters or temporary construction yard shall be located on the same lot as the construction project or on a lot adjacent to the construction project. b. The temporary construction headquarters or temporary construction yard shall be removed upon completion of the construction project.

Sec. 5.1.183 standards

The headquarters shall be authorized on the site for a period beginning no earlier than 30 days prior to the commencement of actual construction and ending no later than 30 days after completion of the last building to be constructed in the project or 30 days after active construction on the site is suspended or abandoned, whichever occurs first (hereinafter, the "ending date"). ... The yard shall be located within the same site where the construction project is located. In addition, no portion of a yard shall be located: (i) closer than 50 feet to any public street right-of-way existing prior to the recording of the subdivision plat served by the yard or existing prior to the commencement of the construction project; and (ii) closer than 150 feet to any preexisting dwelling not owned or leased by the owner of the subdivision or construction project served by the yard.

Sec. 5.1.202 standards

The sale or storage of petroleum products, including kerosene, gasoline, and heating oil, shall be permitted in the districts where authorized, and shall comply with the following requirements: a. The use shall comply with the requirements of the Virginia Department of Environmental Quality and the Virginia State Corporation Commission. b. The use shall comply with the requirements of the Virginia Uniform Statewide Building Code and the National Fire Protection Association.

Sec. 5.1.202 standards

The sale or storage of the petroleum products shall satisfy the requirements established by the fire prevention code of the National Board of Fire Underwriters and the latest edition of the "Flammable and Combustible Liquids Code, NEPA 30" of the National Fire Prevention Association. No storage tanks and loading facilities shall be located closer than 100 feet from any lot line. Notwithstanding the foregoing, underground storage tanks and loading facilities on sites served by the public water supply shall not be subject to the 100-foot lot line setback.
