From the ordinance
A minimum of 50 percent of the required front yard area shall contain landscaping, consisting of drought-tolerant vegetation, grass, shrubs, trees, and other similar plant materials. A conditional use permit shall be required for any grading on a lot that cumulatively exceeds 50,000 total cubic yards of cut plus fill material.
