Lighting

  • Exterior lighting requirements

    All exterior light fixtures shall be energy efficient; produce warm-white light; avoid light pollution and spill-over; and, with the exception of architectural and landscape lighting, be pedestrian-scaled, shielded, and directed toward the ground.

Parking

  • Carports and parking structures architecturally integrated

    Carports and parking structures shall be architecturally integrated in the project design.

  • Parked vehicles screened from public rights-of-way

    Parked vehicles shall be screened from view from public rights-of-way by architectural detailing, façade treatment, artwork, landscaping, or similar visual features to enhance the street façade.

  • Parking not in required front or corner side yards

    Parking shall not be located in required front yards or corner side yards.

Setback

  • Residential units not within 200 feet of freeway right-of-way200 ft

    Residential units shall not be located within 200 feet of the freeway right-of-way. Other uses, such as parking, are allowed.
