From the ordinance
The Residential Medium (RM) Zone is intended to apply to existing residential neighborhoods where the purpose is to encourage medium density residential near transit. The RM Zone allows multi-family residential homes such as apartments and townhomes. This zone implements the Residential 50 General Plan Land Use Designation, which allows 20-50 du/net acre for residential uses.
