Design
- Entryway articulation strategies2 strategies
The primary entryways of all primary buildings shall incorporate at least two of the entryway articulation strategies.
- Entryway width5 ft
The primary entryway areas of all primary buildings shall be at least five feet wide.
Lighting
- Entryway lighting minimum2 foot-candles
The light shall provide a minimum of two foot-candles on the ground within a minimum of five feet from the entryway door.
Other
- Canopy tree requirement
A residential development shall provide a minimum of one canopy tree per lot in the first four feet of the front yard setback area adjacent to the street, and one additional canopy tree per each 40 linear feet of lot frontage above 40 feet.
- Direct pedestrian access
All buildings shall have a minimum of one direct pedestrian pathway from an adjoining street sidewalk or public right-of-way to the front entrance.
- Modification permit requirements
To deviate from one standard: Minor Conditional Use Permit. To deviate from two standards: Conditional Use Permit. To deviate from three or more standards: Variance.
