The Santa Monica Mountains Coastal Zone District is the unincorporated area bounded by the City of Los Angeles on the east, the Pacific Ocean and the City of Malibu on the south, Ventura County on the west, and the inland boundary of the Coastal Zone on the north. The land division does not result in grading on slopes of 15 percent or more; Will not result in grading on slopes over 25 percent.
