Signage

• Maximum subdivision entry/special-feature sign heightMaximum heightThe tallest a building may be, given in feet, in storeys, or both — whichever binds first.8 ft

  Subdivision entry and special-feature signs shall not exceed a maximum height of eight feet, measured from the base of the sign.

• Subdivision entry/special-feature sign lighting

  Subdivision entry and special-feature signs shall be unlighted.

• Maximum subdivision sales sign area32 sqftsq ftSquare feet. An acre is 43,560 sq ft; a typical suburban lot is 7,000–10,000.

  That such sign does not exceed 32 square feet in sign area or 64 square feet in total sign area where such tract contains 10 lots or less

  That such sign does not exceed 64 square feet in sign area or 128 square feet in total area where such tract contains 11 to 19 lots

• Subdivision sales sign time limit3 years

  Subdivision sales signs shall be maintained only until all the property is disposed of, or for a period of three years from the date of issuance of the first building permit for the subdivision, whichever should occur first.
