• Common courtyard ownership

  Dwelling units within a cottage court development may be divided into individual properties. If the units are individually owned, the courtyard shall be held in common ownership through a property owner association.

• Courtyard classification

  Front facade orientation: Oriented toward a common open space such as a courtyard

• Detached garages allowed

  Garages may be detached from the dwelling unit and may be located on a separate property.

  Each dwelling unit shall be a minimum of 600 gross sq. ft. and shall not exceed 1,200 gross sq. ft.

  Each dwelling unit shall have a private open space that is not a part of the main courtyard. The private open space shall be a minimum of 100 sq. ft.

• Side facade architectural treatment

  Side facades directly adjacent to a public street shall have additional architectural treatment to break up its view from the public street.
