From the ordinance
Signs erected on a parcel or at the entrance to a residential, commercial or industrial subdivision that identifies the name of the development and advertises for sale lots within the development. Such signs may also include project lot or housing price range, mortgage company and/or real estate agent information. Temporary subdivision advertising signs shall be permitted for six-month increments, with a letter requesting renewal from the applicant for additional six-month increments and to be removed upon issuance of a permit for the placement of a permanent subdivision identification sign.
