314 rules that bind every district rather than one — sign regulations, parking, floodplain and the rest of the code’s citywide chapters.

The aggregate area of all signs visible from any street frontage shall not exceed 32 square feet. In addition thereto, where two or more main buildings are located on a lot, each building may be permitted to have a wall sign not exceeding 12 square feet in area.

Sec. 30-620.21 standards

More than one main building containing a permitted use, other than a single-family dwelling, or a two-family dwelling in an R-5A, R-6, R-7 or R-8 district, may be erected on a lot, provided that the regulations applicable in the district are met. A parsonage in a detached or attached building located on the same lot as a church or other place of worship shall be considered a permitted accessory use.

Sec. 30-620.31 standards

Where lots of record existing at the effective date of the ordinance from which this chapter is derived are to be combined or divided to create not more than two new lots, and where the width of such lots cannot be increased by acquisition of additional abutting land by reason of applicable sections of this chapter or other chapters of this Code, the width of such lots may be reduced by not more than ten percent of the minimum lot width required in the district in which they are located.
