General provisions

Sec. 66-413 standards

Temporary signs four square feet or smaller may be erected or constructed without a permit in all zoning districts; however, all applicable code requirements in this chapter shall still apply.

Signs not expressly permitted as being allowed under this article... are prohibited. Flashing signs... prohibited. Off-premises signs... prohibited.

Sec. 66-415 standards

All internal streets shall be permanently constructed to current standards of and accepted for maintenance by VDOT. All entrances shall be constructed to current VDOT standards. Where practicable, the use of pervious surfaces should be used for walkways, alleys, and parking lots.

All new developments in the TND-C district require sidewalks. Sidewalks in the TND-C district shall be a minimum of five feet wide. Receptacles shall be located to the rear of the property.

Sec. 66-46(d)3 standards

Dumpsters, or an alternate method of collection for recyclables and for nonrecyclable refuse approved by the zoning administrator, shall be required for mobile home parks and for multifamily, commercial and industrial developments.

The maximum height of any broadcasting and communications tower shall be made a condition of the special use permit. No facility shall be greater than 199 feet.
