17.20.010

Minimum parcel or lot size: No parcel of real property shall be divided or split into two (2) or more parcels ... less than five (5) acres in gross area. Density: One (1) single family residence per five (5) acres.

17.52.0102 standards

The primary uses of lands designated as PDZs shall be: sustained yield timber management, harvesting, and associated activities; grazing and other agricultural uses; mining and mineral processing; non-commercial recreation; hydro-electric generation, and other similar uses.

The primary uses of lands designated as PSZs are for public facilities such as: public schools, parks, buildings, equipment yards, volunteer fire department facilities, solid waste collection and disposal sites, areas utilized for public sewer treatment sites.

17.60.0103 standards

The Open Watershed Overlay (OWO) designated on the Mariposa County Zoning Map, is an overlay district and shall be applied to lands utilized, or proposed to be utilized as watersheds for public or community surface water supply, as defined by the engineering studies for that project.
