  • Land use consistency upon ownership transfer

    When federal or public agency transfers land to private entity, the above use policies govern until reclassification; development proposals not described are inconsistent and cannot be approved.

  • Restriction on vehicular uses

    Motorcycle raceways, cross-country course, or similar vehicular uses are restricted where they create a nuisance to adjacent or abutting private landholdings, or interfere with primary uses.

The primary uses of lands designated as PDZs shall be: sustained yield timber management, harvesting, and associated activities; grazing and other agricultural uses; mining and mineral processing; non-commercial recreation; hydro-electric generation, and other similar uses.
