From the ordinance
For regional shopping malls of at least 500,000 square feet, the off-street parking requirements shall be calculated using the gross leasable area (GLA) of the mall. Regional shopping malls that, at the time of occupancy, are situated on public transit routes and provide bicycle and/or pedestrian facilities... shall be allowed to provide a reduced minimum amount of off-street parking at a rate of one parking space for every 300 square feet of GLA.
