- The manufacture, compounding, processing, packing, or treatment of such products as bakery goods, candy, cosmetics, dairy products, drugs, perfumes, pharmaceuticals and high-purity chemicals, perfumed toilet soap, toiletries, and food products, except refining of fats and oils.
- The manufacture of pottery and figurines or other similarly ceramic products using only previously pulverized clay and kilns fired only by electricity or gas.
- The manufacture and maintenance of electric and neon signs, billboards, commercial advertising structures, light sheet metal products, including heating and ventilating ducts and equipment, cornices, eaves, and the like.
- The manufacture of musical instruments, toys, novelties, and rubber and metal stamps.
- Assembly of electrical appliances, electronic instruments, and devices, radios, television sets, and phonographs; electroplating and the manufacture of small parts and components such as coils, condensers, transformers, crystal holders, and the like.
- Automobile assembling, painting, upholstering, rebuilding, reconditioning, body and fender work, truck repairing or overhauling, tire re-treading or re-capping, battery manufacture, transportation equipment maintenance, repair and assembly facilities, and the like.
- Bulk storage.
- Carpenter or cabinet shop.
- Compounding, processing, and other operations involved in the manufacture, packaging, and distribution of asbestos friction materials, other friction materials and miscellaneous friction products.
- Concrete manufacturing.
- Contractors' equipment storage yards or plants, or rental equipment commonly used by contractors.
- Distribution plants, parcel delivery, ice and cold storage plant, and food commissary or catering establishment, and brewery.
- Feed and fuel yard.
- Foundry casting lightweight, non-ferrous metal not causing noxious fumes, noise, or odors.
- Laboratories: pharmaceutical, medical, experimental, photo, or motion picture film, or testing.
- Laundry, cleaning, and dyeing works and carpet and rug cleaning.
- Machinery sales and service.
- Machine shop, metal fabrication shop, or welding shop, excluding punch press and drop hammers exceeding 40 ton rated capacity.
- Meat, poultry, and fish processing.
- Monumental stone works.
- Offices: Business, professional and governmental.
- Oil, rubber, or leather goods manufacture.
- Public utilities, such as poles, lines, distribution transformers, pipes, meters, water and sewer lines, booster or relay stations, transformer substations, transmission lines or towers.
- Public utility service yard.
- Repair services or businesses.
- Retail lumberyard, including only incidental mill work.
- Sand and gravel operation.
- Sawmills and planing mills.
- Storage or bailing of scrap, iron, bottles, rags, or junk.
- Transmitting and receiving facilities, for radio, television, or television cable stations.
- Truck terminals.
- Upholstery shop.
- Vertical farming uses to be conducted entirely within an industrialized container, subject to the requirements in Section 18-17.1.
- Veterinary offices or hospitals and boarding kennels.
- Wholesale business, storage buildings, and warehousing.
- Wood preserving operations.
- Accessory uses, as defined.
- Off-Street Parking Areas as defined in Section 18-6 of this Ordinance for permitted and conditional uses in the M-2 District and access drives for permitted and conditional uses in the B-2, B-1, CM-1, M-1, MC and HE-1 Districts in accordance with Section 18-6 of this Ordinance.
- Signs in accordance with Section 18-8 of this Ordinance.
- Mini-warehouses/mini-storage, as defined, subject to the following provisions.
- Commercial Records Center.
- Brewery, distillery, microdistillery, microbrewery, nanobrewery, and winery. Such facilities may not incorporate a restaurant as principal part of their operations.
- Wireless facilities and wireless support structures eligible for administrative review per Section 18-30-4.
- Solar energy systems, as a principal use.
