Parking

From the ordinance
For general office, storage uses, furniture stores and home improvement establishments, construction of up to one-third of the number of required off-street parking spaces may be deferred on the condition that all required parking shall be fully designed and depicted on the approved site plan in compliance with all applicable standards. The applicant shall, each October, measure the average utilization of existing parking spaces for two consecutive Saturdays at noon and report the same to the Administrator within two weeks. The Administrator may measure utilization over a similar period at any time, however. If utilization exceeds 85 percent then the applicant shall make arrangements to construct a quantity of additional parking within a timeframe established by the Administrator.
