- Agricultural uses on lots of at least five acres involving the tilling of the soil, the raising of crops, horticulture, forestry and gardening, but does not include the raising of livestock or poultry
- Detached single-family dwelling on an individual lot
- Public schools
- Church and church bulletin board
- Wildlife preserve, conservation area
- Parks and playgrounds
- Home occupations (office and child care)
- Country general store with business sign
- Mobile home or travel trailer as temporary use during construction
- Aquaculture
- Manufactured houses/modular units at least 19 feet in width and placed in a manner which renders the unit no longer transportable
