The self-service storage facility shall be screened in a manner to buffer the visual impact of the facility from public roadways and adjoining properties using one of the following options: [a] Fencing. Fencing shall be installed along the front, sides, and rear of the property. All fencing shall be made of solid pressure-treated wood (stained) or other approved materials, to be permanently opaque with the finished side facing out. All fencing shall meet at least the minimum front yard setback for structures in the respective zoning district. Fencing shall be at least six feet in height and kept in good repair at all times. [b] Evergreen screen: An opaque screen buffer, consisting of staggered double rows of evergreen trees, planted eight feet on center and a minimum of six feet tall at the time of planting.
