A utility scale wind energy system must obtain special exception permit approval in the Agricultural Use District (A-1) and the Forest Conservation Use District (FC) provided the following requirements are met: minimum lot size 5 acres per turbine, turbine height not exceed 680 feet, setbacks 110% and 150%.
