- Small retail stores and convenience stores
- Bars, taverns and restaurants
- Curio shops
- Dancehalls
Conditional / special use6
- Sales and service of petroleum products including service stations
- Garages for repair of marine-related equipment (all activities confined within a building)
- Marine-related equipment rental, service, and sales
- Recreational vehicle parks and campgrounds
- Residence in conjunction with a business
- Recreational facilities (e.g., golf courses, skating rinks, ski areas)

Land use in an R-S district is limited to the following: Lodges, motels, hotels, housekeeping rooms, overnight cabins and guest ranches; small retail stores and convenience stores; bars, taverns and restaurants; curio shops; dancehalls.
