- Sign maintenance requirement
All signs shall be maintained in good structural condition, free of holes, rotting, peeling paint or other decay. Illuminated signs must have working lighting. Ground area around freestanding signs must be kept free of weeds and debris.
From the ordinance
All signs, including those exempt from the permit requirements of this article, together with all of their supports, braces, connections, anchors, and electrical equipment shall be maintained in good structural condition at all times.
