- First floor residential restriction
Dwelling units occupying the first floor of any structure shall only be allowed under the following circumstances: The first-floor residential units are not visible from a main thoroughfare. If the building fronts on a main thoroughfare, the residential portion on the first floor shall be shielded by office or retail space or a lobby that maintains a commercial appearance.
