Environmental

  • NPDES permit required

    All land use activities shall comply with the latest NPDES permit requirements and implementation of BMPs.

  • Acoustic analysis may be required

    Acoustic analysis may be required if a proposed use abuts, is adjacent to, or is across the street from a residential use or Residential (R) Zone.

Other

  • Enclosed structure required

    All land use activities, including washing of cars, auto detailing, service and repairs, and auto parts storage or services, shall be conducted entirely within an enclosed building unless authorized by a CUP or DP.

  • Junk vehicle removal period30 days

    All discarded vehicle parts or equipment, or permanently disabled, dismantled, or junked vehicles, shall be removed from the premises within thirty (30) days of arrival.

    A refuse storage area shall be provided and enclosed with a decorative masonry wall that is compatible with the main building and provided with a solid gate.

    In any Zone, screening between automotive service uses and any Residential (R) Zone shall be consistent with Section 20.220.050.D (Residential Adjacency).

  • Setbacks shall be measured from the back of the right-of-way.

  • Tire storage enclosure required

    Tires taken in on trade that have no more than salvage value shall be stored in a solid wall enclosure.

Parking

    All vehicles being repaired or waiting to be picked up by the vehicle owner shall be parked on-site and not in adjoining or adjacent streets or alleys.
