  • Abandonment removal

    Medium-scale solar energy facilities which have reached the end of their useful life, have been abandoned, or have not been in active and continuous service for a period of 12 months shall be removed at the owner's or operator's expense

    All applications for a medium-scale solar energy facility shall require a decommission and reclamation plan

  • Landscaping and screening required

    Landscaping and screening shall be provided for ground mounted solar to block visibility of the panel(s) and ancillary equipment from adjacent properties.

    The owner shall provide proof of adequate liability insurance for a medium-solar facility prior to beginning construction and before the issuance of any permits.
