Parking

  • Bicycle parking required

    Bicycle parking shall be required for the following: All commercial developments in the DT, C1, and C2 districts requiring 25 or more parking spaces; and all multi-family developments.

  • Bicycle parking spaces

    Four bicycle parking spaces for the first 25 required off-street parking spaces, as shown in table 8.5 above. Each additional 50 parking spaces shall require one additional bicycle space. The minimum number of bicycle parking spaces provided at each site shall be 4 and the maximum shall be 20.

  • Compact parking space dimensions

    Where more than ten spaces are required by this ordinance, a maximum of 20 percent of the required spaces may be reduced to a minimum width of eight feet and a minimum length of 16 feet, provided that such spaces are designated by appropriate signs as reserved for compact cars only.

  • Off-street parking shall not be required for non-residential uses in the DT district, with the exception of hotels, motels, tourist homes, and bed and breakfast establishments.

  • Maximum parking reduction for mixed use50 pct

    In the case of mixed or joint uses of a building or premises having different peak parking demands, the parking spaces required may be reduced up to 50 percent if approved by the administrator.
