General provisions

225 rules that bind every district rather than one — sign regulations, parking, floodplain and the rest of the code’s citywide chapters.

Sec. 6-40(a)1 standards

Off-street parking spaces and access aisles serving uses other than single-family and two-family dwellings shall not be located within any required front yard or required side yard along a street in a residential or R-B district.

Sec. 6-41, 6-423 standards

Space for the loading and unloading of trucks and other vehicles shall be provided on sites developed for commercial and industrial uses. Loading areas shall be so located on the site and shall be of such dimensions as not to occupy or obstruct required off-street parking spaces or to obstruct any public street or any fire lane or emergency access route.
