In residential districts, all accessory structures located in a rear yard shall be located at least two (2) feet from any side or rear lot line.

Zoning administrator may require buffer plantings on lots in R-2 when adjacent to single-family dwellings or R-1 districts.
- Landscaping required
All areas not occupied by buildings, structures, driveways, walkways, off-street parking facilities, or other installations shall be covered by lawn grass and landscaped with natural shrubbery or plants/trees.
From the ordinance
Landscaping, as defined, shall be required in the R-1 Single-Family Residential District, R-2 Multiple-Family Residential District, B-1 Neighborhood Business District, the B-2 General Business District, and the I-1 Industrial District according to the following specifications:
