When the facility serves a "place of public accommodation" as defined by the Americans with Disabilities Act, then a minimum vertical clearance of eight feet, two inches (8'2") shall be provided for van accessible spaces and along the vehicular route to the accessible spaces, and from the accessible spaces to the exit.
