General provisions

§13-100412 standards

The minimum area for a mobile home park or mobile home subdivision shall be ten acres... No lot shall have an area of less than 3,500 square feet... Maximum lot coverage by mobile homes, their carports or garages and accessory buildings and uses shall not exceed 50 percent. A minimum of 20 percent of the gross area shall be in common open space.

§13-11031 standards

No person shall operate or cause to be operated a sexually oriented business within 1,000 feet of a preexisting public or private school, licensed day care center, public park, religious institution, boundary of a residential district, or sexually oriented business.

§13-12012 standards

All extraction operations shall require a conditional use permit... All solid waste management facilities... shall require a conditional use permit.

§13-13001 standards

No structure shall be located within five hundred (500) feet of the lot line of any property zoned or used for residential purposes. Lot coverage of all structures shall not exceed thirty percent (30%).

§13-14025 standards

The nonagricultural outdoor sales facility is set back a minimum of fifty (50) feet from the nearest edge of the sidewalk pavement or street pavement... and shall be set back a minimum of one hundred (100) feet from any adjoining lot which is zoned or used for residential purposes. An area of sufficient size for five (5) customer parking spaces...

§13-14053 standards

Buildings and structures... shall be set back a minimum of fifty (50) feet from the nearest edge of the sidewalk pavement or street pavement... and shall be set back a minimum of fifty (50) feet from any adjoining lot which is zoned or used for residential purposes.

§13-15041 standards

When any event is held on property zoned or used for residential purposes, the area where it is held must be at least three (3) acres in size.

§13-604, §13-605, §13-6069 standards

Communication towers shall only be placed on a lot having a minimum area of two thousand (2,000) square feet... maximum height 199 feet... minimum two paved parking spaces.

§13-701, §13-7022 standards

No facility shall be deemed approved for construction or use unless the site plan meets all requirements of the FAA and the commonwealth. No refueling or mechanical repair operations shall be allowed as part of the regular activities of a helistop.

§13-801, §13-8027 standards

No structure or area occupied by animals in a kennel, veterinary clinic or animal hospital shall be closer than five hundred (500) feet from the lot line of any property zoned or used for residential purposes. Where soundproofed and air conditioned, minimum distance shall be two hundred (200) feet.

§13-9025 standards

Any freestanding mobile home of lesser width may be authorized, through issuance of a conditional use permit, on property in agricultural zoning districts... The lot on which the mobile home is located is at least twenty (20) acres in size; set back a minimum of two hundred (200) feet from any adjoining public street reservation or right-of-way, and four hundred (400) feet from any other residential building.

§14-10003 standards

The height of the freestanding book exchange shall not exceed six (6) feet and the size of such book exchange shall be no larger than four (4) square feet of lot coverage area.

§14-1043 standards

Temporary family health care structures... shall be a permitted accessory use in any single-family residential zoning district on lots zoned for single-family detached dwellings if the property is owned or occupied by the adult who provides care for a mentally or physically impaired person...

§14-2016 standards

All fences, walls and hedges located on any property in a single-family or two-family residential zoning district classification or in the A-1 agricultural zoning district if used for residential purposes, shall be subject to the following height limitations...

§14-2024 standards

All fences, walls and hedges located on any property located in a business, office and institutional, assembly or multi-family district zoning district classification shall be subject to the following height limitations...

§14-2033 standards

For properties within an industrial district, a fence, wall or hedge may be constructed along or behind the interior edge of the required front yard of such properties to a maximum height of ten (10) feet, including all caps or other extensions.

Home occupations meeting the following standards of operation shall be considered a permitted use on residential or agricultural property lawfully improved with a dwelling...

§14-9057 standards

Construction and maintenance of beehives for the purpose of beekeeping is permitted in single-family and two-family residential districts other than R-TH-1 as indicated in section 6-2102 of this Code.
