General provisions
502 rules that bind every district rather than one — sign regulations, parking, floodplain and the rest of the code’s citywide chapters.
In the approximated floodplain district, all development and uses shall be the same as permitted in the floodway district. For non-residential development proposed in the approximated floodplain district, the applicant must use technical methods that correctly reflect detailed hydrologic and hydraulic analyses.
The following shall be prohibited within the Upper Swift Creek Watershed 100-year floodplains when the contributing drainage area exceeds 100 acres in size: clear cutting; removal of tree stumps; clearing of vegetation; filling; grading; placement of fences or other appurtenant structures.
