A manufactured home, Class B may be allowed as a temporary residence during the construction, repair, or renovation of a permanent residential structure on a single lot or parcel subject to the following: All permits for temporary residences, while repairing a permanent residence shall expire within one year after the date of issuance. No extension shall be considered unless substantial construction has been initiated on the permanent residence. One extension not exceeding 90 days may be granted by the administrator if it is determined that such additional time is required to reasonably complete the construction, repair or renovation of the permanent residence. All permits issued for temporary residence while constructing a new replacement residence shall expire within two years after the date of issuance. No extension shall be considered unless substantial construction has been initiated on the replacement residence. One extension not exceeding 90 days may be granted by the administrator if it is determined that such additional time is required to reasonably complete the construction, repair or renovation of the replacement residence.
