Signage

No signs shall project over public right-of-way without express permission of the board of supervisors except for permitted flat signs which may so project not more than eighteen (18) inches.

The administrator shall remove or cause to be removed any sign or supporting structure erected or maintained in conflict with these regulations if the owner or lessee of either the site or the sign fails to correct the violation within thirty (30) days after receiving written notice of violation from the administrator.

No sign shall be so located and so illuminated as to provide a background of colored lights blending with traffic signal lights to the extent of confusing a motorist when viewed from normal approaching position of a vehicle at a distance of twenty-five (25) to three hundred (300) feet.
- Signs resembling danger lights prohibitedProhibitedNot allowed in the district at all, short of rezoning or a variance.
No sign shall be constructed, erected, used, operated, or maintained which displays intermittent lights resembling, or seeming to resemble, the flashing lights customarily associated with danger or such as are customarily used by police, fire or ambulance vehicles, or for navigation purposes.
