  • Landscaping of corner lots shall be limited to plantings, fences or other landscaping features of no more than three (3) feet in height within the space between the setback line and the property line on the street side of the lot.

  • Any part of the front yard not used for parking or accessways, shall be landscaped with appropriate planting or, with pedestrian walks, in accord with an approved landscaping plan.

  • Prohibition of hazardous conditions

    All uses shall be conducted so as not to produce hazardous, objectionable or offensive conditions at residential district boundaries by reason of odor, dust, lint, smoke, cinders, fumes, noise, vibration, heat, glare, wastes, fire or explosion.

  • Paving of drives, parking, loading areas

    The drives, parking areas, loading areas, and walks shall be paved with hard all-weather surface material meeting applicable county specifications.

  • Refuse storage screening

    Refuse containers or refuse storage shall be located in a paved area and hidden from general public view, either from within or outside the premises, by means of fences, walls or landscaping planting.

  • Side yards are required only if adjacent to a residential district.

  • Stormwater drainage

    Provision shall be made for proper storm water drainage. Water from parking and loading sheds shall not be permitted to drain onto or across public sidewalks, or onto adjacent property except into a natural watercourse or a drainage easement.

Buildings in an M-1 district may be erected up to fifty (50) feet in height from grade; buildings may cover not more than seventy-five (75) percent of the area of the lot; all development shall be served by public water and public sewer systems where available.
