A home occupation shall be permitted in any dwelling unit, subject to the following conditions: (a) The home occupation shall be conducted entirely within the dwelling unit and shall not occupy more than 25 percent of the floor area of the dwelling unit. (b) The home occupation shall be conducted only by persons residing in the dwelling unit, and no more than one nonresident employee shall be permitted. (c) The home occupation shall not involve the sale of goods or services on the premises, except that goods produced on the premises may be sold. (d) The home occupation shall not involve the use of equipment that creates noise, vibration, glare, fumes, odors, or electrical interference that is detectable from the exterior of the dwelling unit. (e) The home occupation shall not involve the parking of commercial vehicles on the premises, except that one commercial vehicle not exceeding 1 ton rated capacity may be parked on the premises. (f) The home occupation shall not involve the display of signs, except that one sign not exceeding 2 square feet in area may be displayed on the premises. (g) The home occupation shall not involve the receipt of clients, customers, or patients on the premises, except that clients, customers, or patients may visit the premises by appointment. (h) The home occupation shall not involve the use of the dwelling unit for the storage of materials, goods, or equipment that is visible from the exterior of the dwelling unit.
