From the ordinance
A portable storage unit may be placed on a lot in any district for a period not to exceed 30 days, provided that such unit is not located in any required front yard and does not obstruct any sidewalk, street, or alley. A portable storage unit may be placed on a lot in any district for a period not to exceed 90 days if a building permit has been issued for construction, renovation, or repair of a building on the lot. No portable storage unit shall exceed 8 feet in width, 16 feet in length, and 8 feet in height.
