From the ordinance

For attached dwellings, no side yard shall be required between attached units, provided that a side yard of not less than 10 feet shall be provided at each end of a series of attached units, except that in the R-7, R-8, and R-63 districts, the side yard at each end of a series of attached units shall be not less than 5 feet.
