  • The slope control area shall be deemed an overlay on any zoning district now or hereafter applicable to any lot.

  • Permitted uses in slope areas

    Parks, outdoor recreation; agriculture, wildlife sanctuary, game farms; pasture, grazing; front/side/rear yards and required lot area; electric facilities operating at 40 kV or below.

  • Uses permitted by special permit

    Buildings permitted in primary district on slopes >=25% require plan showing topography, building location, drives, sanitary facilities, foundation, drainage, planting schedule, grading plan; electrical facilities above 40 kV.

  • Zoning permit certification

    A zoning permit shall not be issued for a steep slope area development until the County Engineer and/or appropriate authority has certified that conditions are as stated on the plan and that the plan resolves problems.
