Digital signs shall not be located along any corridor designated as a Virginia Byway within the county. Pursuant to § 33.1-369, VA Code Ann., digital signs shall not be permitted to be located within 660 feet of any property owned by the US Department of the Interior or the National Park Service, the National Trust for Historic Preservation, any property listed on the National Register of Historic Places or the Virginia Landmarks Register. Only one monument or pylon digital sign shall be allowed per development. Where a digital sign is to be a part of a pylon or monument sign, the maximum size of the display area shall not exceed 40 percent of the total area of the sign on which it is to be placed.
