- Conservation management plan required
If the natural resource inventory confirms that a S1, S2, S3, G1, G2 or G3 natural heritage resource either exists on, or could be supported by a portion of the site, a conservation management plan for the affected area shall be submitted to and approved by the director of planning.
- Natural resource inventory required
When a natural resource inventory is required, it shall identify habitats suitable for S1, S2, S3, G1, G2 and G3 resources, as defined by the Virginia Department of Conservation and Recreation's Division of Natural Heritage (DCR/DNH), in the project area.
