Floodplain

  • BFE data may be required

    The Floodplain Administrator may require the applicant to obtain base flood elevation data from a Federal, State, or other source if such data are reasonably available.

  • Manufactured homes shall be elevated on a permanent foundation such that the lowest floor is elevated to at least two (2) feet above the highest adjacent grade and securely anchored.

  • Non-residential lowest floor or floodproofing

    New construction and substantial improvements of any non-residential structure shall either have the lowest floor, including basement, elevated to at least two (2) feet above the highest adjacent grade; or, together with attendant utility and sanitary facilities, be floodproofed to at least two (2) feet above the highest adjacent grade.
