From the ordinance
Canopy tree means a tree that shall measure a minimum of three (3) inches in caliper and ten (10) feet in height at the time of planting. Evergreen tree means a tree that has foliage and that remains green and functional year-round. Such tree shall measure a minimum of two (2) inches in caliper and six (6) feet in height at the time of planting.
