Altering, construction or reconstruction of all ancillary structures, or outbuildings, shall be no more than 1½ stories and not exceed 20 feet in height measured to the peak of the roof, of materials, detailing and roof pitch to match the architectural style of the historic structure.
- HARB approval required before razing, moving, or altering
No structure designated in subsections 48-788(1) or (2) shall be razed, moved or altered without first obtaining a permit from the building inspector, which shall be issued only after approval of the same by the HARB, or, on appeal, by the city council after consultation with the HARB.

A lot in the R-1A or R-1B district on which a designated structure is located shall not be reduced in size such that it no longer meets the minimum lot size, frontage, and setback requirements of a lot in the R-1A district.

A lot on which a designated structure is located shall not be utilized in any calculation of land area required in the R-C, R-TH or R-M district.
