  • The Floodplain Administrator shall require the applicant to obtain a Conditional Letter of Map Revision (CLOMR) from FEMA prior to issuing a permit for any development that will cause a change in the base flood elevation.

  • Compliance with all other provisions

    If the applicant demonstrates that the proposed development will not increase the base flood elevation, the development shall also comply with all other applicable provisions of this article.

  • Hydrologic and hydraulic analysis by licensed engineer

    The hydrologic and hydraulic analyses shall be prepared by a licensed professional engineer and submitted to the Floodplain Administrator for review and approval.

  • No increase in base flood elevation

    No development shall be permitted within the floodway unless it has been demonstrated through hydrologic and hydraulic analyses performed in accordance with standard engineering practice that the proposed development will not result in any increase in the base flood elevation.
