From the ordinance

Guest house means a second detached dwelling unit on a parcel with an existing dwelling unit (principal residence) that: (1) Shall not be used as a principal residence or permanent dwelling unit; (2) Shall not be a manufactured home; (3) Shall not be used in exchange for any form of compensation; (4) Shall not be larger in gross floor area than seventy-five percent (75%) of the principal residence; (5) Shall be at least fifty (50) feet from any existing dwelling and must meet all applicable building setback requirements for a non-accessory structure.
