  • A detailed master plan of the proposed site to include all physical changes or improvements to the property must be presented at the time the formal application is filed with the county.

  • Minimum excavation distance from dwelling or platted subdivision200 ft

    and distance at least 200 feet from any dwelling or any and all property lines of any platted subdivision.

  • Minimum excavation distance from property lines in residential/business/ag100 ft

    The excavations shall be confined to areas a distance at least 100 feet from any and all adjoining property lines in any residential, business, or agricultural district

  • Minimum distance for power-driven machinery from adjacent property in residential/business/ag600 ft

    Any building containing power-driven or power-producing machinery or equipment shall be distant at least 600 feet from all adjacent property in any residential, business, or agricultural district or the right-of-way lines of any existing or platted street, road, or highway.

  • Plan for reuse required

    A plan for reuse of the site is required. The plan for reuse shall show the property, in its entirety, returned to a state suitable for reuse for purposes permissible in this district.

Permitted uses: surface mining, subsurface mining, subsurface mineral extraction, quarrying. Excavations must be 100 ft from property lines in residential/business/ag, 200 ft from dwellings. Power machinery 600 ft from adjacent properties.
